Weder Bremen
Club Brugge are hoping to conclude a deal with German club Werder Bremen
for Joseph Akpala.
Akpala, who turns 26 on Friday, had been expected to travel
to Germany this
week to sign a contract with Werder Bremen .
''For us, everything is finalized. Negotiations are over, we
are waiting for confirmation from Bremen .
That takes some time, but in our opinion the transfer is completed,'' Club
Brugge general manager Vincent Mannaert was quoted as saying by
voetbalprimeur.nl.
According to information from Bild, a transfer fee of 2.5
euros had been agreed by both clubs. Joseph Akpala will earn 1.2 million as
annual wages if his move to Werder Bremen
materializes.
