Victor Moses set to bridge the wage gap

Victor Moses is set to quadruple his wages when he arrives at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea last night agreed a £9m deal for Wigan starlet Moses at the FIFTH attempt.

And the 21-year-old’s weekly age packet will soar to £40,000.

The Champions League winners have been tracking the winger all summer and failed with four offers.

The two clubs agreed a figure a few days ago but have been haggling over the terms of the transfer, though the former Crystal Palace star will now undergo a medical.

Moses’ final game for the Latics was against Chelsea as the Londoners won 2-0 at the DW Stadium on Sunday.

Moses joined the Latics in a £2.5m deal in January 2010, having made his Palace debut as a 16-year-old in November 2007.

Moses, who moved to London when he was 11, featured for every England age group up to the Under-21s but opted to play for the country of his birth and made his Nigeria debut in February.
