Gambo Mohammed Fails To Impress Samsunspor

The dream of Kano Pillars striker Gambo Mohammed playing for Turkish first division club Samsunspor is now an illusion.

After testing with the club for three days, Mohammed who is the second highest goalscorer in Nigeria's elite series with 15 strikes, has not been offered a contract by Samsunspor.

Reports indicate that the 24 - year - old Gambo Mohammed and his agent are currently negotiating a deal with Adana Demirspor, who play in Turkey's second - tier.

Gambo Mohammed is a typical Nigerian forward, very physical with all round attacking abilities. So far, he has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season for The Masu Gida.
