Nosa Igiebor set for
La Liga bow
Nosa Igiebor could make his Spanish La Liga debut for new
club Real Betis on Monday, September 3, against Atletico Madrid .
Coach Pepe Mel is expected to consider Igiebor and another
new signing, Costa Rica
star Joel Campbell, for selection against Atletico Madrid .
Betis slipped to seventh on the table after they lost 2-1 at
home to Rayo Vallecano on Saturday.
The club also celebrated the invitation of both players to
their respective national teams.
“Players of Real Betis Joel Campbell and Nosa Igiebor have been
called by their national teams. Both players, who have arrived this season may
be available if the coach Pepe Mel deems appropriate on Monday, September 3 for
the clash against Atletico Madrid ,”
read a statement on club’s website.
The first time I watched this guy in action, I knew he will go far in the game with luck added to his quality. I am of the opinion that God has remembered him and Keshi should not delay in making use of the boy's quality. He is far, far better than Mikel and any of our midfielders.
