Uzoenyi's Marseilles dream still alive

Contrary to news that  Ejike Uzoenyi’s dream of playing for Olympique Marseille is up in flames, the Rangers of Enugu star has said his agent and the club are still in talks.

The petit striker who denied media reports that he failed trials at Marseille, insisted that he was rather at Marseille to discuss a possible transfer.

“The club are in contact with my agent and we have agreed that contract talks will begin in a short while."

"I never went on trials. I was at Marseille to see things for myself and I must confess I was impressed with what I saw." He said.
