Oliseh applauds Eagles’ Monrovia draw

Former Super Eagles skipper, Sunday Oliseh has commended the team for their tw0-all draw against the Lone Star of Liberia in the 1st leg of the final 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Monrovia last weekend.

Echoing his views on his official website, Oliseh stressed that onus is now on the squad to lift their game in the reverse tie, even as he is looking forward to see the team in South Africa next year.

"This was a much anticipated match due to the fact that both teams are currently rebuilding and it was supposed to be a Barometer to the progress the Super Eagles have made. In my opinion it is a good result for Nigeria since the super Eagles still have their destiny in their hands now. All it needs to do is just win at home and the road will be set for a comeback to the African scene," Oliseh said.
