Rangers lose stars to foreign clubs

Runners up in the just ended Nigeria Premier League, Rangers International FC of Enugu are on the verge of losing two of their top stars, Oghogho Oduokpe and Togolese goalkeeper Mensah Nsuohoho to foreign clubs.

Forward Oduokpe, who joined the ‘Flying Antelopes’ from Warri Wolves in the first transfer window of last season, has caught the attention of his former coach, Paul Aigbogun, who is now with FC Cape Town in South Africa.

Mensah, on the other hand, was splendid between the sticks for the Coal City side and he is now being courted by Gabonese side FC 105.

He is seen as good replacement for the Gabonese ageing first choice goalkeeper, who is from Central African Republic.

Oduokpe has already visited Abuja to process his travel documents to South Africa.

The Delta State-born attacker, who is known as ‘Raul’ by his team mates cant wait for the move: “I will soon be on my way as my manager is working very hard to make the deal see the light of the day.

“The South African deal will only be a stepping stone to greater things for me.”
