Miami Heat Turn to D’Tigers Oguchi

NBA team, Miami Heat, have showed a second interest in adding D’ Tigers’ small forward, Chamberlain Oguchi, to their 15-man roster.

Oguchi has already worked out with Heat in early September.

The guard also worked out at San Antonio Spurs in the wake of reports linking him to several NBA teams after an impressive show at the summer Olympics in London with Nigeria's D' Tigers.

“Took my talents to South Beach and had a great showing. Coach Spo and staff are amazing. Now is time to take my talents to San Antonio,” Oguchi recently wrote on his Twitter page.

The Nigerian is now close to earning a non-guaranteed deal from the Heat barring any hitch.

But Oguchi will face the duo of Garrett Temple and Terrel Harris for a roster spot in the rotation for the guard and small forward positions, if he eventually earns the non-guaranteed deal.

The Champ, as he is fondly called, has played college basketball in Oregon and Illinois, as remained an undrafted player.

But he went to play in the D-League with Maine Red Claws, in France with STB Le Havre, in the Philippines with Meraico Bolts, in Lebanon with Hoops Club as well as for Venezuela’s Panteras de Miranda.
