Akpala opens Bundesliga goal account

Two days after Victor Moses got his debut goal in Chelsea colours, Joseph Akpala scored his first goal for German Bundesliga side Werder Bremen against Freiburg last night.

  

Akpala, who joined Bremen during summer transfer window from Club Brugge of Belgium, drew his team level in the 47th minute.

  

Bremen eventually won the game 2-1 and they have now moved to seventh place on the table with seven points from five matches.
