Eagles’ camp  opens  for Arsenal next week
The Super Eagles camp opens next week ahead of the August 5 friendly with Arsenal scheduled for the Abuja national stadium.

Team manager, Stephen Keshi who is already penciling players down for the game expressed delight that the tie was coming at a time the Eagles are undergoing reforms. He also stressed that the match would go a long way in bringing out the best in the players.

“The Eagles’ camp will open a week from now to commence preparations for the international friendly against Arsenal. I will soon release the list of players that will prosecute the tie. The game, I’m sure, will enable me discover more technical lapses in the team,” he said.

“Playing against a highly experienced team like the Gunners will also be a part of the Super Eagles’ preparations for the next stage of the 2013 African Nations Cup qualifier.

The former Mali coach affirmed that he was not under pressure to battle the Arsene Wenger-tutored side, saying that his only concern was to raise a formidable team regardless of the outcome of the encounter.
