Reuben, Oboabona promise Liberia hell!

Super Eagles enterprising duo of Gabriel Reuben and Godfrey Oboabona have said they are very prepared for the Liberian test in Monrovia as both countries try each other for size in the race for the 2013 Africa Nations Cup in South Africa next year.

Reuben who scored a beauty of a goal against Plateau United on Monday at the Agege Stadium in Lagos in a Federation Cup match, declared himself super fit and ready for the game.

“As you can see I’m ready and very fit and anytime we get to camp, I will prove my mettle in training and in match situation. I am assuring Nigerians that the Liberian will be thoroughly whipped”, the lanky midfielder who has been likened to France legend Patrick Vieira declared.

On his part, Oboabona, who skippered Sunshine Stars to an impressive goalless draw against Tunisian side Etoile Du Sahel, in an Africa Champions League game in Sousse last weekend said, the squad has made him a better player and he will again prove it in the game against Liberia in Monrovia and will never underrate the Lone Star.

“No, we have not and will never underrate any team in the qualifiers, but we know that we are better in all departments than Liberia and we will prove it in both legs of the qualifier”, he said.
