Moses Doubtful For Wigan Pre-Season Friendly Today

Wigan contract rebel, Victor Moses is a huge doubt for today’s pre-season friendly game between his English Premier League club and Austrian side,GW Micheldorf at the Micheldorf SV arena.

The Nigerian, who is linked with a move away from Wigan with Chelsea his possible destination flew out with the rest of his Wigan Athletic colleagues to their pre-season training camp in Austria at the weekend after he was granted an extended holiday due to his involvement with Nigeria.

The European champions have reportedly made three bids for the 21-year-old, the latest being a player-plus-cash package believed to be around the £5million mark.

However, Latics are adamant they will not sell Moses for a penny less than £10million – which must be made up of cold, hard cash.

Today’s match could prove too soon for the electricfying Nigerian winger fitness-wise but could be available for selection on Thursday when Wigan play Bulgarian side,Botev Plovdiv at the Pichi bei Wels arena in Winkelfeld or Saturday’s game at Bad Wimsbach against Chinedu Obasi’s former club in Germany,Hoffenheim.
