La Liga dream ends for Igiebor!

Nosa Igeibor's dream move to La Liga is in shambles after negotiations between his club, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Real Betis was called off because of his wage demands.

His agent Atta Aneke sheds light, ''The economic aspects of the contract Real Betis offered Nosa Igiebor were unacceptable. He was offered only an increase of 20,000 euros in wages, and could have been one of the least paid players in the club if we had agreed to the financial terms.

''Nosa Igiebor is not desperate to leave Hapoel Tel Aviv. There are several clubs still interested in his services. The transfer window remains open until August 31st; we shall make a decision before then.''

There are suggestions that discussions would continue between the parties involved in the contract if Real Betis improve their financial offer to one of the future stars of African football.
