D’Tigers are in town!

London 2012 Olympics-bound national male basketball team of Nigeria, D'Tigers are back in the country after their historical performance in Caracas, Venezuela where, against all odds, they picked a ticket to the Olympic Games.

On arrival this morning, Coach of the team, Ayo Bakare, who was ecstatic said preparation for the London 2012 Olympics Games continues and they won’t be carried away with the feat achieved at the qualifiers where they downed top countries like Lithuania and Greece before defeating Dominican Republic 88-73 points for the slot.

Bakare is confident that they boys will up their game in London and perform even better despite being grouped alongside the best basketball nation in the world, the American Dream Team.

The coach is expected to submit his programmes for the Olympic Games this week.
