Contrasting news about Victor Moses’ Chelsea
move on the wire unsettles Blues’ fans across the world after the Stamford
Bridge side were reported to have signed
Wigan winger in a £9million deal.
Chelsea have seen three bids for Moses rejected by Wigan
this summer, with Latics chairman Dave Whelan holding out for £10m for the
21-year-old, who is out of contract next summer.
Talks between Whelan and Chelsea
chief executive Ron Gourlay took place earlier this week as the two sides
looked to try and thrash out a deal for the Nigeria
international.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Moses will get his move
to Stamford Bridge
after Whelan finally agreed to negotiate.
According to reports, a £9m fee has now been agreed, with
Moses now set to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.
But Neil Fewings, who is the agent for Moses, has moved
quickly to deny the reports.
"Reports that a £9million deal has been agreed between Chelsea
and Wigan are not true," Fewings said.
