UEFA Champions League goal/qualification excites Ideye

Brown Ideye’s genius gave his Ukrainian team, Dynamo Kiev passage to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League despite a 2-1 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach at home last night and the player is savouring the moment.

Dynamo Kiev were on the verge of crashing out of the most prestigious club football tournament in the world before Ideye scored in the 88th minute to give his team a 4-3 aggregate win.

  

''We are glad for this victory. We won and this is the main thing. Glad that in the end we managed to finish the match with an acceptable score to overcome the barrier and qualify.

‘‘We gave it to the full. Yes i missed i couple of chances but i'm sure that my goal was the highlight of the night'' Ideye said.
