Ejike Uzoenyi not good enough for Marseille

Olympic Marseilles did not offer Enugu Rangers exciting winger Ejike Uzoenyi a contract after undergoing tests.

On Thursday, there were speculations at home and abroad that Uzoenyi would be offered a deal by the 1993 European champions. But after waiting all evening to know his fate, the 20 - year - old was told the unfavorable news by the leaders of Les Phocéens.

Previously, Uzoenyi tested with Esperance, Tromsø and Panionios but nothing came out of those tests.
