Ideye sure of
Champions League football
Dynamo Kiev striker, Brown Ideye, is excited his side are
one step away from the group stage of the Uefa champions league after a
convincing 3-1 first-leg victory over VFL Borussia Mönchengladbach on Tuesday.
"I am very happy that we managed to win in Germany .
We showed character and our best qualities playing on the counter and we were
lucky on the night."
Ideye further revealed that Coach Yuri Semin demanded of the
team a reaction after losing to Vorlsa by a lone goal in the league last
Saturday.
"The coach wanted an early goal from us after our
defeat in Poltava and we worked
hard to get it."
He added:"The second leg is more important than the
first. I believe in Kiev , we will
have to work even harder to achieve the desired result."
"Borussia will try to score an early goal, and I
believe our defense has to cope with this task. We have taken the first step on
the way to the Champions League group stage," he concluded.
