Keshi hails squad after Niger draw

Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi has hailed the performance of the squad that played a goalless draw with the Mena of Niger Republic in an international friendly yesterday.

“It’s a good warm up for the Liberia game and we should pick a good result in the encounter, because we did not play with the compliments of our Europe based stars and Niger on the other hand featured up to eight foreign based professional players in the encounter.

I am happy that the guys proved that they are responding to all the trainings over time and are bracing up for the numerous challenges ahead.”
