Yobo returns to Fener this week

Joseph Yobo is expected to return to Turkey this week to join Fenerbahçe's pre-season training if his 2.5 million Euros transfer from Everton is successfully concluded.

The Istanbul club finally agreed the 2.5 million Euros transfer fee this week after negotiations which started back in early July appeared to have stalled.

Fenerbahçe manager Aykut Kocaman has urged the clubs directors to complete the transfer as soon as possible with the new Turkish Super League season only 18 days away.

Yobo has been on loan with the Istanbul giants for the past two seasons during which he has cemented himself as a first-team regular.
