Yobo Could Take Pay  Cut To Force Fenerbahce Move

Fenerbahçe are considering three options in order to bring Joseph Yobo to Istanbul this summer. Recall that the 31-year-old central defender has spent the last two seasons on loan at Turkey's vice-champions.

Now, these are the options available to the management of the Yellow Canaries, which has been discussed with Joseph Yobo:

Option 1: Sign Yobo on loan again from Everton. Pay him 2.35 million euros as wages, and pay Everton a rental fee of 400,000 euros.

Option 2: Manage to convince Everton to accept the club's bid for Yobo. Offer him a two-year contract with option of an additional season, and pay the Super Eagle 2.35 million euros as annual wages.

Option 3: Fenerbahçe accept and pay the 3 million pounds valuation of Joseph Yobo. Yobo must then make a sacrifice and accept annual wages of 1.3m euros.

Fenerbahçe are doing everything possible to hasten Yobo's transfer as they are fine-tuning strategies for next season's UEFA Champions League and league participation.

The club's management see him as a very important player in their quest for a successful campaign in both competitions.

Negotiations between  Fenerbahçe and Everton are ongoing, but the British club is refusing to reduce its three million pounds valuation of the central defender. A transfer fee Fenerbahçe are not prepared to pay because the 31-year-old is near the twilight of his career and has no re-sale value.
