Yobo set for Fener stay
Joseph Yobo is close to realising his desire to secure a
permanent move to Turkish giants, Fenerbahce.
The centre-back who
has spent two seasons on loan at the Turkish side has not hidden his intention
to secure a permanent move away from Everton FC, a team he joined from
Olympique Marseille of France
in 2002.
Reports in the Turkish media have it that only minor details
remain to be sorted out for the deal to see the light of the day.
Yobo’s advisors and officials of Fenerbahce as well as
Everton chiefs have agreed on a transfer fee for the Nigerian captain and he is
now to resume pre-season training on Monday.
“We are almost through as far as my transfer agreement is
concerned. Hopefully, by Monday next week, I will resume training.” The player
said .
