Chelsea, the winners of the Champions League, received
€59.9m (£47.3m) in prize money and were the biggest earners in last season's
competition.
Bayern Munich, the beaten finalists, earned €41.7m from the
€754m (£595m) prize fund shared among 32 teams who played in the group stage.
Manchester United were sixth with €35.2m (£28m) after
failing to reach the last 16, compared with £42m the previous season when they
reached the final.
English clubs are rewarded for valuable national
broadcasting deals, which are factored into Uefa's calculations.
Uefa paid clubs a basic €7.2m for taking part, plus
results-based bonuses.
Uefa said Champions League revenue will rise 22% over the
next three-season cycle.
