Chinedu Ede has finally ended speculation about his future
by agreeing a four-year deal that will take him to Bundesliga side Mainz .
The protracted deal to take the 25-year-old from second
division side Union Berlin looked to have fallen through last week only to be
completed after the clubs agreed a £1million fee.
"We are delighted to have signed Chenedu," Mainz
chief Christian Heidel told the club's official website. "He has an
exceptional technique.
"He is not yet that consistent in his performances, and
so on, but we will be teaching him all he is missing."
Making way for the exciting winger are Tunisian striker Sami
Allagui and veteran Germany
defender Malik Fathi.
