...now Arsenal 'keen on Victor Moses as Theo Walcott replacement'
Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a move for Wigan 's
Victor Moses, as uncertainty about Theo Walcott's future grows.
Walcott has just 12 months remaining on his contract at the
Emirates Stadium and talks about an extension have stalled.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is apparently now ready to sell,
as long as he can find the right replacement.
The man he wants is Wigan 's Nigerian
playmaker Moses.
The 21-year-old has been linked with Chelsea
and Liverpool in recent weeks, after making it clear he
has no intention of signing a new contract at the DW Stadium.
Latics chairman Dave Whelan has tried to deter interest from
rival Premier League clubs by placing a £12million price tag on the former Crystal
Palace trainee.
The Blues are among the clubs interested in Walcott, but any
move for the 23-year-old will depend on how much they have to spend to land one
of their striker targets.
