Yak still in Eagles-Keshi

Red hot Brown Ideye, who sent Dynamo Kiev into the next stage of the UEFA Champions League with the winner at Feyenoord Tuesday night, as well as the likes of Peter Utaka, and Yakubu Aiyegbeni who ply their soccer trade in China, are in the plans of Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi.

“I have been talking to all the players on our plans for this team. I tried to reach Brown Ideye on telephone yesterday (Tuesday) but I couldn’t get him, maybe it’s because of the Champions League match he played yesterday night where he scored a goal. Of course he and the others are still in the list.

“But the problem is that we have so many players but we just have to know which player is ready to come in and play. We don’t want to bring in 25 professionals (foreign based players) and some of them end up sitting in the tribune while others play. That will be sheer waste of fund. Instead of that why don’t we save the money and bring the ones that are ready to give us what we want.”
