Onazi Ogenyi scores first Lazio goal

Told you about him yesterday and today he is flying!

Former Flying Eagles ace Onazi Ogenyi scored his first goal for Lazio on Wednesday in a pre-season game against Nuova Circle.

The midfielder, who made his senior debut last season against Atalanta in the Italian Serie A, has been a regular face for his club in pre-season ahead of the forthcoming 2012/2013 season.

Onazi, who has shone in the Lazio reserves is delighted with his progress at Lazio and looking forward to the new season.

"I am happy with my progress here and also excited with my first goal for the senior team, I am looking forward to scoring more when season starts."

Such is the progress the former U17 and U20 star has made that he is being considered for an improved contract by his Rome club.
