Lone Star gets set for Super Eagles

The Lone Star has left Liberia for Malabo, Equatorial Guinea to honor a test match on Wednesday August 15 and prepare for their fixture against Nigeria on September the 9th.

They will also play Malawi a mere five days ahead of the Super Eagles game to get into further game shape for the match which will determine who will head to South Africa for Afcon 2013.

Meanwhile, the LFA, as recommended by their technical staff, had faxed 11 overseas players for the planned Fifa match day encounter.

The 48 member delegation includes the following: Nathaniel Sherman ,Teah Dennis ,Eddie Boakai Foday ,Omega Roberts Alamadine ,Theo Week Lewis ,Solomon Wesseh ,Alseny Keita ,Zah Rahan Krangar ,Sekou Jabateh Oliseh ,Patrick Ronaldinho Wleh ,Solomon Isaac Grimes ,Eric Weeks ,Mulbah Urey ,Trokon Zeon ,Isaac Pupo ,James Soto Roberts ,Sekou Dgeorges Manubah ,James Koko Lomell ,Abel C Quioh and Musa Dargbason

Despite losing 2-0 to the Eagles a couple of months ago Liberia has remained a thorn in the side of Nigeria playing their fellow West Africans very tough and with the backing of the Firestone Rubber Plantation Company, are setting up a major test for Keshi's new look team.
