All is not lost-Chukwumerije

After the fall of Isa Mohammed Adam to Jordanian, Abulibdeh Mohammed,  in the taekwondo event of the London 2012 Olympics yesterday, his partner in the discipline and Team Nigeria captain Chika Chukwumerije has re-assured Nigerians that he will do his best to put smiles on the faces of yawning citizens.

As the race for medals look increasingly challenging for Nigeria, the leaders of the Nigerian delegation are scared of returning home empty-handed – a situation which has necessitated several meetings at different levels, Chukwumerije fights Roberlis Despaigne of Cuba on Saturday at the EXCEL Areana in the +80kg category is optimistic of victory.”

“We must believe in our heart what we want to achieve. I will do my best to get Nigerians smiling again. It’s been hard out here but no hope is lost because I am well prepared for the Cuban on Saturday.”
