Sports minister summoned by Presidency from London

Sports minister, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has been forced to  cut short his stay in the Paralympics Games in London following the directive by the Presidency to attend today’s weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The meeting which will discuss among other things, Nigeria’s woeful performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games where Team Nigeria failed to win a single medal.

The minister might return to either London on Wednesday immediately after the FEC meeting for the closing ceremony of the Paralympics Games or opt to travel to Monrovia for the qualifier tie between the Super Eagles and Liberia this weekend.
