Oshaniwa moves to Israeli league

Juwon Oshaniwa has joined the legion of Nigerian players seeking the proverbial Golden Fleece outside the shores of the country.

The defender has signed a four - year contract with Israeli top flight club MS Ashdod, after passing a routine medical examination.

It remains unclear if the former Sharks left-back would be eligible to make his league debut for The Dolphins today's league game with Beitar Jerusalem. Ashdod has not received the player's International Transfer Certificate from the Nigeria Federation.
