Forget a return to the Eagles.... Juwon tells Taye Taiwo 

Sharks FC of Port Harcourt left wing-back, Juwon Oshaniwa has boasted that Taye Taiwo is history in the Super Eagles because he is not ready to relinquish the left back position to the Dinamo Kiev player.

“I want to believe that everything go with time. Taiwo has made his mark in the world of football both at club level and the national team. He has contributed a lot.”

“I want to believe it is now my time to contribute positively to the lost glory of the game in Nigeria and make sure that I restore the lost glory of the Super Eagles and put smiles on the faces of the sports-loving fans of this nation,” he noted.

On whether he has come to stay in the Eagles line-up, the Sharks defender, said: “Surely, I have come to stay in the Super Eagles team. It is the aspiration of every player at home and abroad to stake a claim if given the opportunity. Therefore, the moment I got the privilege and opportunity, I decided to grab it with my two hands.”
