Liverpool battle Chelsea for Moses

Liverpool will move for Victor Moses if top target Gylfi Sigurdsson chooses Tottenham.

Hoffenheim midfielder Sigurdsson was top of Brendan Rodgers’ wish list, after a superb loan spell under the new Kop boss at Swansea last year.

But Spurs are offering higher wages than the Reds, in a near £8million move.
And if they do miss out, that will see Rodgers switch his attentions to Wigan wing wonder Moses, 21.

Latics owner Dave Whelan knocked back a £4m bid from Chelsea last week, insisting he wants more than double that figure.
