Dark clouds on Etuhu’s  Stoke dream

Dickson Etuhu’s dream of moving to Stoke City from Fulham where he’s been declared surplus to requirements by boss, Martin Jol hangs in a balance as the Britannia side are poised to push through a deal for former Glasgow Rangers star Jamie Ness.

Ness is understood to have already had a medical in Staffordshire ahead of sealing a move to the Britannia Stadium.

The Scottish Under-21 international has been offered a four-year deal and is set to sign the contract shortly.

Etuhu has had it rough at Fulham since the arrival of Jol, the former Tottenham manager and vowed to move away from Craven Cottage if a good offer comes his way.
