FC Copenhagen Chase JOSEPH AKPALA

FC Copenhagen are interested in signing Joseph Akpala, voetbalprimeur.be has reported.

The ex Bendel Insurance star is stalling on renewing his contract with Club Brugge, which has alerted a host of clubs as he could become available at a bargain fee.

FC Copenhagen, now regarded as one of the finest clubs in Scandinavia, are looking for offensive reinforcements. The primary target of coach Ariel Jacobs is the former Ivory Coast youth-teamer Yannick Sagbo. Attention would shift to Akpala if Ariel Jacobs fails to land Sagbo.

Joseph Akpala, according to reports, is also on the radar of West Ham, West Brom and Montpellier.

Galatasaray Will  Battle Bursaspor, UANL Tigres For KALU UCHE

Kalu Uche is not only attracting interest from Mexican club UANL Tigres. The Super Eagle's next destination could be Turkey, as he is being linked with concrete moves to two clubs in the Super Lig.

Kalu Uche is one of the goals of Galatasaray in the summer transfer market reports Star Gazetesi. The Espanyol player, who is being sought for his versatility in midfield and attack, is available at a bargain fee of four million euros.

If there are no hiccups, Uche, Espanyol's top scorer last season with 6 goals in the championship, is expected to trouser two million euros in annual wages.

Galatasaray face competition from rivals Bursaspor for Uche's signature. But the proposed bid for the Nigeria international in economic and sporting terms from the Lions looks more enticing and difficult to ignore.

Since making his debut in 2003, Kalu Uche has bagged 5 goals in 34 appearances for Nigeria's National Team.

Moses will cost you  £12m, Wigan warn Chelsea and Spurs as Whelan plays hardball

Wigan have warned Chelsea and Tottenham that it will cost at least £12million to prise Victor Moses from the DW Stadium.

Moses, 21, was the subject of a £4million bid from Chelsea earlier this month, which was turned down. New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is also ready to launch a bid for the exciting young forward.

Latics boss Roberto Martinez wants to keep hold of his man but Moses' contract runs out next year and the player has expressed his desire to leave this summer.

With former club Crystal Palace due 20 per cent of any transfer fee, Wigan chairman Dave Whelan is playing hardball with Chelsea and Liverpool.

Whelan is arguing that Moses' potential and youth mke him a more valuable asset than Charles N'Zogbia, who Wigan sold to Aston Villa last summer for £9.5m.

The Nigerian international netted six times for Wigan last season and is comfortable playing on either flank as well as off the main striker.
